Here at GEICO, safety always comes first. GEICO invites students in grades 1-12 to design a poster that shows how to drive safely. Videos are also welcome from students between the age of 14-18. There will be a total of 25 National Winners.

Students can choose among three different safety themes:

•  The importance of wearing a safety belt
•  How to prevent distracted driving
•  No texting while driving

Hand-drawn & computer-generated posters:
Students can enter hand-drawn posters or posters they create using computer technology.

Videos:
Students age 14-18 are invited to participate in the video portion of this contest. Show the importance of vehicle safety in your video through sketch comedy, music video, song performance, documentary style, viral video, reality show or animation. You can share your experience or voice your opinion – be creative!

The film should be shot and edited entirely by the student. Video length should be no more than 2 minutes and with a file size of under 100mb. Have any other questions? Be sure to visit our FAQ page.
